ArcGIS - Renewal Process

ArcGIS by ESRI is renewed through UH IT Earth and Atmospheric Sciences; slightly different  from other software renewals.  

1. Institutional Research  (Mirian Qumsieh) is the application Owner. 
2. OIT Business Services team will work with the application owner and UH Team for the renewal, based on the date of renewal given in the contracts database(TDX).
3. UH IT Earth and Atmospheric Sciences pays ESRI.​
4. ​​OIT Business Services team will then work with Division Business Administrator to transfer funds to UH IT Earth and Atmospheric Sciences  Team.
5. ESRI will update ArcGIS dashboard for ArcGIS Pro subscription users
6. ArGIS functional admin (Kurt Lund/ Henock Gebrehiwot) will generate licenses to put on desktop licenses, if required.  ArcGIS desktop product Lifecyle ends March 1, 2026.
