Closing a Project and the File Cabinet
Before you close a project, make sure the handover document is updated, if any kind of service transition is involved. Click KB Article for more details
When closing a project if there are files in the briefcase you will lose access to those files unless they are added to the File Cabinet.
These files can be added during the closure process.
- Once on the project closure page you can click “go to briefcase” then locate the file(s) you want to add to the file cabinet.
- Click on the name of the file, which will bring up a pop up.
- Click actions, then add to file cabinet. This will allow that file to be accessed after the closure through the file cabinet.
- To access the file cabinet, click on the applications menu, then briefcase. Here you will see a list of folders for all your projects. If the file has been added to the file cabinet then it will continue to show here after closure. If it is not, once the project closes it will remove the access.
