Terra Dotta is designed to house applicant, program, and risk management information about student, faculty, and staff travelers. Two services are using this software.
UHCL Education Abroad and Scholar services is using the system to track inbound and outbound students, independent student travelers (for non-credit international experiences), faculty/staff travelers, and a dynamic travel alert system based on GPS phone coordinates, using U.S. Department of State travel alerts. This system will also communicate with PeopleSoft in that Terra Dotta will receive relevant SIS (student) and HR (faculty/staff) data from UHCL's institutional information system.
Office of International Admissions and Programs (OIAP) - is using this software to manage international student records and communications with our international students. It also reports the required information to SEVIS as required by the Department of Homeland Security Student and Exchange Visit.
